I was once a professional Modelmaker, but my dream was to have a career illustrating children’s books. And here I am today having lots of fun blending these two disciplines as I create exciting new projects in the fabulous world of children’s books.
Since joining the MA I have won the 2015 Lara Jones Award, and in 2016 was announced as the winner of the inaugural Carmelite Prize, illustrating a text written by Cressida Cowell for the picture book The Story of Tantrum O’Furrily.
I live on a farm in South Wales with my wife Pippi and work in primary education. When I’m not drawing you’ll find me wandering the fields of Wales looking for the perfect potato to make prints from.
