Anna-Maria Green

Hello, I am a Suffolk based illustrator with a passion for paintbrush and pencil! Growing up I loved nothing more than looking at picture books featuring the work of Beatrix Potter, Judith Kerr and Shirley Hughes. Though my undergraduate degree was science based I felt the constant desire in pursuing my love for illustration which led me to the MA course.

My love and interest for wildlife is reflected within the work that I produce. I like the idea of creating personalities and characteristics to the creatures that inhabit my illustrations.

I enjoy working in gouache, pencil and in ink as well as dabbling in a bit of Photoshop. I do also like experimenting with other media which enables me to explore and push the boundaries of my creative practice. The MA has definitely lit my desire to pursue illustration professionally.
