I have loved drawing all my life and my childhood ambition was to be an illustrator. I held on to this ambition, became a Primary school teacher and then a product developer of toys and games, all the while drawing as much as I could. Eventually I was able to become a freelance illustrator, working in educational publishing, illustrating resources for young children, and kids with special educational needs.
Being entirely self-taught, I decided to apply to the BA Illustration course at CSA, which I gained with first class honours in 2015.
On the masters course I have discovered a love of telling stories using humour in my illustrations and writing. It’s always an adventure to discover where my characters will take me next!
It would be amazing to see my picture books and illustrations in proper bookshops and being shared, read and enjoyed by children and adults everywhere!
