Dina Riyanti

I am an illustrator from Indonesia. In my country, I have published a few books. In 2017, I was leading the team for leveled books development for Papuan children, with UNICEF Papua – as well as being involved as an author and illustrator.

I am inspired by the quirky and playful works of Quentin Blake and Oliver Jeffers, as well as the paintings and prints of my favourite artist, Marc Chagall. I am fascinated by the richness of cultural diversity, colours, humour and heartwarming message – those aspects influence my works.

For art media, I currently found new love in risography and screenprinting, and I also like working with gouache, acrylic, coloured pencils. However, I love to learn and explore new things, and enjoy the journey!
