Born in the warm and beautiful Mexico, I grew up surrounded by art and books. Raised by the beautiful illustrations of fairy tales and Mexican folklore, it wasn’t hard for me to fall in love with illustration as a way of narrative.
I love creating playful illustrations with a childish and innocent spirit. I am deeply interested in the relationships between characters as character development. I love studying by drawing how characters react to the situations and places they find themselves. At some point I feel like is the characters telling me how the story should go instead of me writing it!
I work in a strange way, by creating traditional components and then putting everything together digitally, because I feel this allows me more freedom at the moment to create.
