I graduated this year from the M.A in children’s book illustration course at the Cambridge school of art at the Anglia Ruskin.
I studied as a fulltime student.
I live in the South east of England.
I am inspired by British and American folk art, Mid 20th century artists and illustrators such as Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious, Enid Marx, Barbara Jones, Peggy Angus and many of the Great Bardfield artists.
Their aesthetic language appeals to me alongside the subject matter, which is often domestic and narrative.
I am also very interested in Social history, how we lived in the past and in particular life in the home.
I have an interest in working in 3d and I have created a pop up carousel book.
I am really interested in several Crafts and I love to sew.
I make clothes and items for the house.
